Royal Show

Rio Tinto has partnered with the Royal Agricultural Society to celebrate 50 years of Iron Ore with the many people who have shaped the company, most importantly, our community.

The exhibit creates an interactive and educational space, that allows people to engage with the Rio Tinto story and provides a glimpse into our future.

Explore the exhibit

To celebrate our 50 years of iron ore, Rio Tinto is dedicating 2016 to the many people who have helped to shape the company, including the local community. Rio Tinto has thus partnered with the Perth Royal Show, with the vision of creating an interactive and educational space, that allows people to engage with the Rio Tinto story – from the well-known iron ore miner through to employer of choice and grassroots community supporter.

Things to see and do

The exhibit features six zones, that cover various topics. On arrival at the exhibition, visitors will be given a Rio Tinto Groundbreaker passport encouraging them to visit each display to receive a stamp. If a visitor redeems all stamps, they are eligible to enter a competition to win an Apple Watch.

Each day we will be uploading photos from the exhibition to the Exhibit Gallery, so keep a close eye out – you might be a celebrity!

You can also stay updated through our social media channels, Facebook and Instagram.
